As we previously mentioned, Catherine Zeta-Jones was rumored to be teaming up with Broadway legend Angela Lansbury for Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music and now, it's official!

The show, which will open at the Walter Kerr Theater in mid-December, is based on Ingmar Bergman's 1955 film Smiles of a Summer Night and has not been revived since its original 1973 run. That is, unless you count the benefit performance in January staring Natasha Richardson and Vanessa Redgrave.

Those are some talented shoes to fill and we have no doubt Lansbury can pull it off! Plus, she's no stranger to Sondheim, originating the legendary role of Mrs. Lovett in 1979 AND she's still going strong at 83!

This will mark Catherine's broadway debut in the role of Desiree, an actress in fin-de-siecle Sweden, while her mother (Lansbury) is raising her child.

We LOVE us some musicals!

Quite a combo!

Both Catherine Zeta-Jones and the great Angela Lansbury will be starring in the revival of Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music on Broadway this winter.

Word is that Angela refused to take on the project unless they could bring on another heavyweight star to play opposite her. It just so happened that Catherine has recently moved to New York with hubby Michael Douglas and she has just turned down a movie that had the audacity to ask her to audition, so she was free for the part.

Then again, who is going to turn down a role when Stephen Sondheim himself calls you at home to invite you to perform? No one we can think of!

The part Catherine will play doesn't involved too much dancing and singing, but she does have one very important number to tackle: arguably Sondheim's most recognizable song, Send In The Clowns.

Screw that up and kiss your Broadway career goodbye!

Making Poppa proud, one arrest at a time!!!

Since Cameron Douglas is being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in NYC pending drug trafficking charges, his father, Michael Douglas, removed his head from the sand and finally addressed his son's drug debacle.

"The family is devastated and very disappointed in Cameron's recent behavior. Any family who has dealt with substance abuse knows how devastating it can be," said a new statement released by Poppa Douglas.

That's it?!

After Cameron's first arrest on charges of distributing crystal meth, he was released on bail and put on house arrest. It wasn't until the boy genius violated the terms of his home detention when his girlfriend brought him a heroin-filled electric toothbrush, yet she claims she had no idea.

She's just an angel dating a drug dealer!! Not suspicious in the slightest!

If convicted, Douglas faces anywhere from 10 years to life in prison.

Shaming your family, a possible jail sentence and bringing drugs into your mommy's home?!

Priceless!

We'd watch out Jon Peters! Salma Hayek is one wicked pissed Latina!

The successful producer (Peters) has been shopping around an autobiography proposal about his career and personal life. In the document, Peter listed a slew of past lovers including Barbra Streisand, Kim Basinger, Pamela Anderson, Nicolette Sheridan, Sharon Stone, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Salma.

That's some dirty laundry list!

Word has reached Salma about this accusation and she released a statement denouncing the whole thing.

"I have never dated nor had a romantic relationship with Mr. Peters," she says. " y name has been continually linked to his romantic liaisons, and I want to put a stop to this lie."

That's one down. Whose next to call this guy out?

Pam? Kim? Barbra?

We want to try!

In a new interview, sizzling hot Catherine Zeta Jones unveiled parts of her beauty regimen.

To beat wrinkles she rubs honey and salt on her skin:
"I rub a mixture of honey and salt all over my body to moisturise and exfoliate. You wash it off and your skin is gorgeous."

Washing her hair in beer and honey makes it all shiny and shiz:
"I do condition my hair with honey and beer. I smell like the bottom of a beer barrel for days afterwards but it's very good for the hair."

She eats certain fruits to maintain her pearly whites:
"…I love to eat an apple after a meal, just to cleanse my teeth - they always look polished afterwards."

If you can't have an apple, a strawberry or pineapple works too, says CZJ.

"The juice or pulp of strawberries contains malic acid which serves as an astringent and can lighten surface stains. Pineapples work the same way."

Hope she's tuning up her face now because 3D probably isn't too forgiving!!!!

Aging beauty Catherine Zeta Jones has been tapped to play the Egyptian queen Cleopatra in an upcoming $30 million 3D Hollywood epic to be called Cleo.

Rumor is that Hugh Jackman is in talks to play her Roman lover, Mark Antony.

The film will reportedly be Hollywood's first try at a musical based on the infamous lovers and will be directed by Steven Soderbergh, who directed CZJ in Traffic.

CZJ did show off her musical chops in Chicago, for which she won an Oscar, so we're confident that she'll handle any of the singing and dancing stuff thrown her way.

This will either be really good…or really bad. Either way, sounds like a really fun time!
