If you didn't know, Sunday morning was marked with tragedy when a man opened fire in a nightclub in Orlando, Florida, killing 50 people and injuring 53 more.
Though details from the terrible event continue to come in, it wasn't until Monday morning that the FBI started to release the identities of the victims.
As information has been released, people from around the world have began to recognize names or faces or even just identify with some details from the victims' lives.
One of the confirmed dead was Luis Vielma who author J.K. Rowling quickly discovered worked at the Harry Potter ride at Universal Studios Florida.
The HP creator wasted no time sharing her thoughts on the terrible passing as she took to Twitter to tweet:
