Talk about being on top of the world!
Just last week, Drake released his new album, and this week, he’s working for the Toronto Raptors.
The Canada native has followed in Jay Z’s footsteps and signed on to be a host, business partner and consultant for the Raptors. This will all be announced today, in conjunction with the city accepting the 2016 NBA All-Star game.
Drake isn’t officially the host of that event… but he actually is.
And like anything new, the singer slash rapper is creating a Raptors-based clothing line once he helps redesign their image. He can change anything but the name!
The new look will be unveiled in the 2014-15 season, in the hopes that they’ll land some big name players in the 2015-16 season when their large contracts come off their books.
Yup. Leave it to Jay Z to really lay the blueprint!
However, Drake hasn’t gotten a piece of the team like Hova did, but that’s probably only a matter of time.
