Nobody brings in the New Year better than our equally beloved Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin!

Despite being fired pretty much every year from co-hosting the CNN coverage with the Silver Fox, the comedienne explained via Jimmy Kimmel Live that this year, her new goal is to get HIM fired - and also to give him a roofie and drunk-dial Wolf Blitzer (above)!

Oh man. Oh man. Oh man.

What we wouldn't PAY to see this actually go down!

Well, except the firing part!

These two need to continue making, ahem, 'beautiful memories' every year, as far as we're concerned!

Jimmy Kimmel tells this little boy that Santa needs help with his "Naughty and Nice" list.

Jimmy asks this nice young man to tell him which of his friends should NOT get gifts from Santa this year! Then then kid straight ruthlessly up snitches on national TV!

The boy even agrees with Jimmy when he suggests they put on naughty little girl in jail!!

The best part is he wants to be a cop when he grows up! LOLZ!

What a perfect job for him!

Today is Regis Philbin's last day hosting Live!, the show he's hosted for the past 100 some-odd years.

How will Reg end his run with the show? Last night Jimmy Kimmel imagined (above) one way Kelly Ripa's partner could sign off — and it ain't pretty!!

Here's to hoping Jimmy's kinky dream doesn't come true! LOL!

Hope Solo is having a tough - big time!

The soccer star, who was eliminated Tuesday night Dancing With The Stars, would normally be doing the pretty-routine exit tour that is given to most axed contestants, which includes a spot on Jimmy Kimmel Live the night of boot, and then an interview on the following day's Good Morning America, but due to it being during the semi-final rounds of the competition, the network has instead decided to promote the remaining three contestants - Ricki Lake, Rob Kardashian and J.R. Martinez - before the finale next week!

However, it may in fact be to her benefit, as during her Extra interview, she got choked up and later refused to speak with any press, which, according to her rep, was because she was too "emotional." She's returned home to Seattle until the finale.

Aww! Poor thing!

It must stink to get so close to the end, only to get eliminated!

Keep your chin up, gurl!

You had a great run, and you should be proud of your performance!
