Jodie Foster Sparkles In Armani

jodie-foster-armani-golden-globes__oPt.jpg

She looks like a beautiful sea queen.

Jodie Foster showed off her figure in a blue strapless gown by Giorgio Armani as she walked down the red carpet at the 2012 Golden Globes.

The dress featured a cinched waist and a side ruffle that showed off a little flair. Her flawless makeup and signature bob pulls off the look perfectly.

She may have been the butt of one of Ricky Gervais' jokes in the opening monologue, but this dress is no joke. Simple, yet elegant!

Jodie Foster Strolls With Girl Friend And Son

ZOMG! CUTE family!

We saw Jodie Foster look'n cheerful while out on a a stroll with her 13-year-old son Charles and a pal in El Lay.

Jodie must be serious about her this gf cause she's been seeing her since June of last year.

We just want to point out that Charles is only 13 and already WAY taller than his famous mom! LOL!

He's also a bit taller than his mom's galpal who he seems to like a lot. The group laughed and chatted as they enjoyed the warm Cali weather.

See more pics of the adorable family below!

Jodie Foster Donates Her Money To Finding Aliens!

Jodie Foster Donates To SETI

After SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence Institute) was shut down back in April over the lack of federal funds, the space seekers decided to raise their own money.

By creating the website SETIStars, they have raised more than $200,000 to date.

One of the generous contributors? Jodie Foster!

Most stars spend their money on environmental issues, but apparently this one is going even farther.

Hmm, guess someone never lost contact with their belief the truth is out there!

Jodie Foster Continues To Defend Mel Gibson… More

Jodie Defends Mel At Cannes

Well, she's nothing if not consistent, LOLz!

Mel was nowhere to be seen at the press conference at the Cannes screening of his new movie The Beaver, which Jodie Foster directed.

That means, unfortunately for her, that people asking questions had to ask through her, and probably were a little more bold without the man of the questions sitting next to her.

She did field them as professionally as possible, and we guarantee she's annoyed with being asked, but this is what happens when you cast someone that has done the things he has just because of your friendship. Plus, we hear that the movie is getting mixed feeling regardless, so all this talk about it rehabilitating his image and him searching deeper than ever before for the role doesn't make quite as much sense without the movie backing it up.

We haven't seen it yet, though, so we'll reserve final judgment until then.

Here's what she had to say:

"He really understood the character in a way that was extraordinary. I think that he was willing to go to such a deep place and willing to expose himself in some ways, to really talk about something he knows a lot about which is struggle, wanting to change, wanting to transform yourself, not wanting to be who you are and I'm so grateful for that performance".

Like we said, people aren't being blown away by the performance. That's a very good way of diverting the questions asked back to the film, with new positive spin in tow, but you're dodging the question.

But also, we get that you're tired of hearing about it, Jodie, and the focus SHOULD be on the movie instead. But you cast him in the role, so, it's your responsibility to deal with it when he's not there to respond himself.

We'd still really like to see the movie, though, we're just pretty skeptical at this point!

Nobody Gives A Dam About Mel Gibson's Beaver

the beaver does poorly at box office

Better luck next time, Mel!

Last we heard about Mel Gibson's The Beaver, director Jodie Foster was STILL trying to convince us to love Mel and embrace the movie.

We weren't really feeling it, and apparently nobody else was feeling it either because thus far, The Beaver has only made $104,000 after three days of release in 22 theaters! Ouch!

Looks like Jodie isn't letting the film's lack of Box Office get to her though, because when she spoke at a recent Q&A screening of the film, she had the following to say:

"I don’t care if the movie doesn’t make any money."

Nice to hear that she's staying strong despite having the odds heavily against her with this one.

…Wonder how Mel's feeling about it…

What do U think about The Beaver's weak box office numbers? Do U think it deserves more love? Even less?
