While we were graced with the presence of former president Bill Clinton and roared with laughter thanks to Will Ferrell and Kristen Wiig , little was surprising about who won at this year's Golden Globes.

Among the winners were Anne Hathaway for her role in Les Miserables, Claire Danes for her role in Homeland, Quentin Tarantino for his Django Unchained screenplay, and Ben Affleck for his directing in Argo.

..but the biggest winners of the night were Girls for Best Television Series (Comedy/Musical), Les Miserables for Best Motion Picture (Comedy/Musical), and Argo for Best Motion Picture (Drama)!!!!!!

Congrats to all those who took home a golden statue!

OMG!! Jodie Foster has finally come out of the closet!

The Golden Globes gave the highly accomplished star the Cecil B. DeMille Award for her amazing body of work. But her most amazing performance of all time was her acceptance speech!

And we ain't talking about her SNL quote!!!

She finally confirmed her relationship with longtime partner Cydney Bernard, gave a beautifully poignant — and rather odd — speech about having privacy… and gave her mother permission to die?!

Kristen Stewart has been the talk of the town world since a few sneaky cameras snapped scandalous photos of her cheating on Robert Pattinson with Rupert Sanders, but not everyone is talking shiz.

Jodie Foster, who played KStew's mom in Panic Room, has published an essay which gives the 22-year-old tabloid sensation unwavering support during this difficult time in her life.

Foster has been in the limelight since she was three and has "no memories of a childhood outside the public eye," so if anybody understands "the gladiator sport of celebrity culture," it's her!

Although the veteran actress calls our obsession with celebrity "as old as the hills," she points out that a new era of social media has made it harder for the famous to adapt to "life lived as a moving target."
