Just because 2015 came to an end does not mean its scandals are over!
It's may be a new year, but the Bill Cosby controversy is as heated as ever now that he's been arrested for a sexual assault that took place 11.5 years ago — narrowly fitting into Pennsylvania's 12 year statute of limitation.
And with the case getting even more attention due to as many as 50 women wanting to testify against him, things started to get a bit confusing when the women of The View started addressing Bill's arraignment and Camille Cosby's deposition.
Luckily, CNN legal analyst Sunny Hostin was part of the panel on Monday and was able to explain the upcoming trial more clearly to her cohosts… and she actually made the whole thing much more understandable.
In addition to Sunny's legal take on the arrest, Whoopi Goldberg was the most vocal about the fate of Bill Cosby.
The comedian — who infamously came under fire for defending Cosby when his accusers first started coming forward — would only go so far as neutral, saying:
Well, this wasn't too helpful…
After the Real Housewives star confided to Andy Cohen that she felt disrespected on the ABC talk show, the former Disney star tried to make peace with a public apology, but it didn't really do the trick.
In fact, while speaking to BeGlammed for her 30th birthday party, Raven tried to say sorry, saying:
Whoopi cannot be bothered.
While appearing on Watch What Happens Live! Wednesday night, a caller asked Whoopi her thoughts on the whole controversy… but she needed Andy Cohen and fellow guest Billy Eichner's help to even understand the issue.
