What a fabulous pairing of musical minds!

Rivers Cuomo of Weezer has revealed that he will be working with the delightful Katy Perry on her next album saying that they will be "writing together next week. Can't wait."

Cool!

Katy herself has just headed back in the studio this week to start working on the new album which she has said is going to be very different from her smash record One of the Boys.

"I'm kind of thinking I want to do my record like a mesh between 'Lovefool' by the Cardigans and ['The Sign'] by Ace of Base. I want to make songs that people want to hold hands and roller-skate to.

I'm not looking to alienate my fans, but I can't be that grown-up Shirley Temple girl wearing the stupid strawberry in her hair all the time…because I'd kill myself or someone else would for me. So I'm really excited to always be evolving and changing — with my look, with my music, it keeps me entertained as well."

Can't wait to hear your new sound, Katy!

God help him - literally!

For Katy Perry's evangelical Christian parents, the Almighty is the one thing that may give the sexually-experienced funnyman an edge.

Supposedly, Katy is desperate for her family to accept new boyfriend Russell Brand, so she is arranging a meeting as soon as possible before she hosts the MTV Europe Music Awards next month.

"Katy is as besotted with Russell as he is with her. However, her parents are extraordinarily strict Christians," said a source. "Katy is sure that, after a bit of getting used to him, they would approve of Russell, but she wants to get that initial meeting out of the way as early as she can. Keith and Mary are devoted to the church and hold the institution of marriage as a central core of their beliefs.

So, don't expect them to approve any pre-marital hanky panky!

Keith and Mary Hudson are pastors, who run an evangelical ministry in Temecula, CA. They can even marry couples if they decide to wed one day.

Let's take this one day till its inevitable demise at a time!

Let it go, Silly!

Even though the feud between Allen and Katy Perry has been kept at bay for months upon months now, Lils refuses to forgive and forget!

Allen was invited to be the special guest for the Chanel show in Paris on Tuesday, but when it was suggested that Perry attend the show as well, Lily shot down the idea!

Why does she insist on drawing out the feud even longer????

Paris Fashion Week has been invaded by some musical fashionistas!

Spotted today at the Castelbajac Spring/Summer 2010 Ready To Wear showt was none other than Katy Perry along with our new personal fav, Sliimy.

The two were seated front row during the show alongside the gorgeous Dita Von Teese. And by the looks of things, they were having a great time.

Really? Already?

Not to poo-poo it or anything but it seems really soon to be talking about love. Of course, this is Celebritylandia. If ya'll get married in a month, we won't be that much more surprised.

Russell Brand has been seen making his mark of love on Katy Perry and close friends of the British actor say its the real deal.

A source explains: "Russell has fancied Katy for ages and was like an excited schoolboy after they got together. He really sees her as an ideal catch and is prepared to stop seeing other girls."

That she is, an ideal catch, but what does Katy think of Russell?

He's not exactly who we'd picture Katy with. Then again, maybe that is the point.

A source points out: "She knows about Russell's reputation but finds him really charming and funny. She's keen to make a go of it."

Well, then, we're happy for them. Sorta. And again, when it goes up in flames, we won't be surprised.

Katy Perry and Princess RiRi were privy to front row seats at Uncle Karl's ready-to-wear collection for Paris Fashion Week on Sunday!

RiRi rocked it out with her played-down 'hawk and fingerless gloves while Katy played it glam with her brunette curled locks.
