So heartbreaking!!!

The news of James Gandolfini's unexpected and untimely death shocked the entire world today.

As we told you earlier, the Emmy-winning Sopranos star was vacationing in Rome when he suffered a heart attack that proved fatal.

The supremely gifted actor was only 51 and his premature loss will surely be felt across the industry.

HBO, proud home to The Sopranos for six seasons, issued this statement:

"We're all in shock and feeling immeasurable sadness at the loss of a beloved member of our family. He was special man, a great talent, but more importantly a gentle and loving person who treated everyone no matter their title or position with equal respect. He touched so many of us over the years with his humor, his warmth and his humility. Our hearts go out to his wife and children during this terrible time. He will be deeply missed by all of us."

Many of James' friends, co-stars, and fans also took to Twitter this afternoon to express their grief and offer their condolences to his family.

Kristin Chenoweth is a biggggg animal lover.

She even has her own charity, Maddie's Corner, named after her doggie!

The charity's mission is to help out any animals in need in any way they can!

So of course when Kristin was in Australia, she had to visit some furry critters!!

She was headed down under for the first time, tweeting:

Kristin Chenoweth is a wonderful woman who has her own animal charity called Maddie's Corner, named for her dog Maddie.

She's a caring, compassionate person and also an Oklahoma native, so she's doing whatever she can to help those affected by the recent devastating tornado.

She is selling "Lending A Helping Paw" t-shirts through her charity at $25 a pop to try and raise money to help pets in need of medical attention since the tornado hit.

She said:

Ooh la la! Who is that dashing man at Mrs. Chenoweth's side?!

The spritely singing starlet was spotted leaving Madeo Restaurant in WeHo last night and she was in the company of a handsome hunk!!!

Kristin Chenoweth was in rare form, too — she was cute as a bag of buttons in her puffy orange vest!

The look reminded us of Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future! Ha!

Orange you glad to see Kristin out and about with a handsome hunk!?

The Good Wife actress only weighs 88 pounds, but for some reason she thinks she's hefty.

Kristin Chenoweth was in New York City on Tuesday to make cruising the seven seas glamorous again at the Royal Caribbean Reveal of the Quantum-Class Ships.

For the big reveal, the ships' godmother (no really, that's her title) wore a royal blue Victoria Beckham dress with black YSL heels.

Prettiest godmother ever? We think so!

With 3 people confirmed dead and at least 154 people injured from the Boston Marathon explosions, celebs such as Kim Kardashian, Nicki Minaj and Alicia Keys are taking to their Twitter to send out their love and prayers.

It's not yet clear who is responsible for the bombings, but while it's investigated, #prayforboston has become Twitter's top trend.
