Lauren Conrad may be the toast of the town, but her dogs are the belles of the ball!

According to her at least.

Talking about her two rescue dogs, Chloe and Fitz, she said:

Lauren Conrad left her big ol' hat at home Tuesday night to play hostess at the Malibu Island Spiced rum launch in NYC.

The former reality star turned designer looked like an glamorous island goddess on the sand-colored carpet wearing a black top and skirt from her Paper Crown line and nude strappy sandals.

Perfectly styled side-swept ombre curls and bright pink lip completed LC's rum-tastic look.

Absolutely gorgeous!

England may have its wacky royal wedding fascinators, but we have the Kentucky Derby, and our hats are BIGGER!

And, obvs, bigger is always better! So, take that, Brits!

Lauren Conrad took that expression very much to heart at the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs on Saturday, wearing a ginormous floral hat on her pretty little head.

From the head down, she was classy and elegant in a dotted Paper Crown dress paired with nude LC Lauren Conrad pumps.

We're digging the soft, monochromatic color scheme, Lauren's ombre waves, and her glowing tan.

Oooh! That looks cozy!!!

Earlier this week starlet Lauren Conrad bought herself a prime new pad in El Lay for $3.74 mil!!!

The 27-year-old reality starlet sunk her claws into a magnificent 6-bedroom, 5-bathroom, 4,300 sq. ft. Brentwood mansion!!!

We know what you're thinking — why couldn't she find a nice place in The Hills? LOLz!! We don't know!!

While Lauren certainly spent a lot of dough, we're sure she feels like she got the deal of the century after

Her hairdresser is in for another seven hour session!!!

Lauren Conrad is rocking pink hair again, but not because she wanted to!

The Paper Crown designer was in India for the Holi Festival, which celebrates the coming of spring by throwing around colored water, powder and paint, and the effects will be with her for a while.

LC posted pics to her Instagram of her pink and green face and hair, but even after she washed it out, the color stayed!!!

But being the California girl that she is, Lauren's going with the flow, saying:

"So apparently it doesn't wash out…Looks like I'm sporting pink locks for the rest of this trip."

We wouldn't be too worried Lauren. It looks good on you!
