Lauren Conrad pinned her bangs back for her Infamous book signing at The Grove on Tuesday, making sure nobody would mistake her for Rachel Zoe!
The designer slash author got a little carried away with her outfit choice for the occasion, wearing a lace Zayan dress with tulle overlay that seemed completely superfluous.
We have an urge to cut all the tulle off and just leave the cute lace mini underneath!
Oh well, we're sure her latest tome will be a best-seller regardless.

And thanks to some tweets of encouragement from her followers, it looks like she finally took the plunge!
LC posted the pic (above) to her Instagram on Thursday of her beautiful new blunt, wispy fringe, with the caption:
"bow bow bang bang"
The bow is a little ridic, but we LOVE the bangs! Hopefully they're the real deal and not clip-ons.

Lauren Conrad may be the toast of the town, but her dogs are the belles of the ball!

Talking about her two rescue dogs, Chloe and Fitz, she said:
Lauren Conrad left her big ol' hat at home Tuesday night to play hostess at the Malibu Island Spiced rum launch in NYC.
The former reality star turned designer looked like an glamorous island goddess on the sand-colored carpet wearing a black top and skirt from her Paper Crown line and nude strappy sandals.
Perfectly styled side-swept ombre curls and bright pink lip completed LC's rum-tastic look.
