UK Newspaper Owes Lily Allen £10,000!

wenn2503841lily__opt1.jpg

Britain's The Sun is going to pay hot mess Lily Allen £10,000 in damages for publishing an article with false statements they claimed were made by the soon-to-be former singer.

The Sun ran an article back in May saying that Lily called Victoria Beckham "a monster" and Cheryl Cole "stupid and superficial" as well as making snide comments about her marriage to footballer Ashley Cole.

Honestly all of those things sound like they came out of Lily's mouth. Girlfriend is ALWAYS talking shiz!

The comments were first published in a French sports magazine, So Foot, where The Sun lifted them from and then published the story called "Ranting Lily."

A rep from The Sun says that "we now accept that Lily didn't say these things to the magazine and we apologize to Lily for the upset and embarrassment caused by repeating them."

Lily is still pursuing legal action with So Foot, but no deal has been reached yet.

You might be getting the cash, but you're not fooling anybody, honey!

The story had to come from somewhere!

Pirate Illy Allen Removes Her Illegal Mixtapes!

wenn2503841lily__opt1.jpg

Ha!

Earlier, we reported how Lily Allen is a huge hypocrite when it comes to her hate of illegal file sharing because she was contributing to the problem!

Word must have gotten back to Illy because those mixtapes with songs she didn't license have magically disappeared from her website, www.LilyAllenMusic.com!

Nice try, Silly. We all know you're guilty of music piracy, even if you've removed the evidence.

Silly Allen's A Hypocrite!

wenn2503841lily__opt1.jpg

Recently, Lily Allen blogged about how she's against illegal file sharing and how it damages not only emerging artists but also British music.

Well, apparently she doesn't know what the hell she's talking about because Illy is part of the problem!

Pot, meet kettle.

Back when Silly was a nobody and trying to break onto the music scene, she created her own mixtapes that included her music AND other artists, such as Jay-Z, Jefferson Airplane and The Kinks.

In case you didn't know, that means Illy was and is making music available illegally.

It wouldn't be a huge deal if it happened in the past, but both mixtapes are still available on http://www.LilyAllenMusic.com!

FAIL!

So does that mean we can blame her for damaging British music?

Yes!

Lily Allen Confirms End Of Singing Career!

wenn5352403.jpg

It was never her music we hated, it was her words and actions! And we're gonna get A LOT more of that now that Lily Allen is taking time off from music - indefinitely.

The singer has confirmed that she has no plans to tour anymore or record a follow-up to her latest album, It's Not Me, It's You.

"I do however remain a fan of new music, so this is not some selfish crusade," says the retired singer on her new anti-piracy blog. "The days of me making money from recording music has been and gone as far as I'm concerned, so I don't (at this point) stand to profit from legislation."

Illy is taking time off to star in the West End production of Neil Labute's Reasons To Be Pretty!

As terrible the notion that someone put her in a play, it may be a great casting decision. The lead female role in the show is Steph, a girl who is bat-shiz crazy!

But, she'll probably pull a Pivert!

You can't pAArty like that and do 8 shows a week!!

Illy Fights For Artists' Rights

wenn2503841lily.jpg

Lily Allen - a crusader for musicians' rights????

The hard-pAArtying pop tart has started her own blog, It's Not Alright, tackling the topic of digital music piracy.

Lils has written letters to many of her musical comrades, requesting them to voice their opinions on music file sharing.

Check out the letter in its entirety:

The debate on digital music piracy is reaching a critical point as Peter Mandelson and the government move to legislation that will tackle unlawful file sharing. The industry’s had a say, the ISPs have had a say and some artists – through the Featured Artists Coalition have had a say. But I don’t agree with them. Do you?

I feel really strongly about file sharing. I see it having a damaging effect on British music – especially on emerging artists. Overall the internet’s had a great effect on music and been crucial in helping people like me break through. But file sharing is different to legal streaming or making some music available as promotion. File sharing eats away at opportunity for new artists: by cutting off income at the most crucial, cash-strapped point in their careers and by limiting A&R’s ability to sign new acts outside of the mainstream.

The ISPs have got their message out there: they don’t want to be the internet police. Fine. The industry has got its message out there: they’re losing money and they want it back. No surprises there.

And now some artists have got their message out there: that file sharing is fine when you’re a successful artist with sell out tours and a back catalogue ready to be sold to a new audience. That might be fine for them, but it’s not fine for the acts that haven’t made it big yet.

What I’d like is for artists that don’t think file sharing is fine to get their message out there too. I want to make it clear that file sharing is not alright. And I want the industry and the artists that have made it, to look at how we can help those artists that are still struggling to break through in the file sharing age.

So obviously I’m writing you because I’d really like your help. You don’t have to like my music –you don’t even have to like me. But if you think file sharing’s not alright and reckon we should be doing more to ensure emerging artists aren’t cut off, then I’d love a hand.

I want to get everyone together – the artists, record companies, ISPs and government –to properly talk about this. So we can stop bickering and try and come to a solution. We can even see if we can come up with some new ideas too.

I want us to talk about how we support emerging artists. If we support emerging artists, we can ask our fans to support them too. And if we’re not going after piracy, we need to talk about how we are going to support new talent.

The majority of British artists are against file sharing, because it will harm British music. We can talk about all the legal means of accessing music out there and even come up with new ways to access music, but ultimately we need to establish that we think file sharing is wrong.

If you agree with what I’m saying and want to be involved with voicing our opinion, then get in touch.

Lily

So far, James Blunt, Tim Oxley of Keane and Matt Bellamy of Muse have all written Lils back.

Cokate's Surprise For Simon

katemosssimoncowell.jpg

Simon Cowell's 50th birthday bash is rapidly approaching and we're sure all those A-List celebs attending are scrambling to figure out what to get him.

But Kate Moss has it all figured out.

Cokate's going to "surprise" him with a performance, as in she's going to sing for Simon!

She does know that this is a birthday party and not an X-Factor or American Idol try-out, right?

So, what song has she picked to make Simon's ears bleed?

According to a source, "It’s a toss up between a sexy Marilyn Monroe-style ‘Happy Birthday’, or her speciality Lily Allen’s Not Fair, which she has been practicing with her friend Lily.”

If she's been practicing with Lily, then it's guaranteed to be a hot mess!

Hopefully someone will record this!

Quote Of The Day

wenn2503841.jpg

"I find it's a weird world that we live in," Allen says. "I'm the worst culprit. I'm a total victim to material things. But you don't forget, because you're consuming at that rate and people are directly suffering as a result."

Lily Allen + Motherhood = Disaster!!!

wenn-lilyallls.jpg

When the gig is up for Lily Allen, it's off to suburban life for this Brit and boy, do we pity the poor sap who marries this trainwreck.

While performing at the V festival this past weekend, Lily admitted that she is already looking forward towards the end of her career, as she plans to retire at 25. And she has big plans for her future: "I just hope I can stay famous enough for a little bit so someone rich will marry me."

Yes, because we hear a lot of rich bachelors are keen to bring a hot mess like you to meet their mum.

And speaking of mums, that'll be phase two of life out of the biz for Silly Allen: children!

“I have every intention of becoming a suburban mum," says Lushy. "I want to get married and have children…I'd like to live in the country and have a walled garden, and chickens and pigs."

Bad idea! BAD IDEA!

We foresee the afternoon that Lily gets so drunk, she confuses the playpen for the pig pen and her baby has to waddle in mud for hours before someone notices!

Can't you stick to intoxication instead of moving on to procreation? It's what you know best!

Geez, Lily! With Friends Like These, We'd Stick With Jack Daniels

wenn-lillyalllen.jpg

At least Jack Daniels wouldn't rag on you to the press!

Lily Allen has some "friends" who think that gabbing to the press about her drinking problems will somehow make them famous help Lily out. A few of these so-called mates came out and basically said she's a drunken, irresponsible whore.

We don't disagree, mind you, but where we come from, friends don't say things like this about friends to the media.

Blabs one pal:

"The drinking is taking its toll and making her take silly risks. Her record company was furious about the bad publicity she’s been getting recently and she’s been told to get her act together. Lily’s always contrite afterwards and filled with horror at what she might’ve done while she was drunk. She’s joked that she likes drink, but it doesn’t like her – and that’s true. Her outrageous behaviour also extends to her love life. She’ll hook up with anyone when she’s drunk."

What pals! She is so lucky to have these bitches by her side!

But Lily should know that deep down, they really are concerned for her, as they continue on to say: "For Lily, it’s about the attention. She’s still very insecure, despite looking her best at the moment."

Wow. Talk about the pots calling the kettle an attention whore.

Get new friends Lils!
