Funny how she is so up-to-date on her daughter's career and she couldn't bother to make an appearance at the hearing yesterday!

Dina Lohan is yapping away about Lindsay Lohan's Playboy shoot, confirming that the photos are in fact getting reshot and that Lindsay is working closely with the man himself, Hugh Hefner, to decide which shots will make the spread. She also confirmed what a lot of people have already guessed: Lindsay will most defintiley be on the cover of the January issue.

Dina told The Insider she didn't stop her daughter from making the decision because:

This morning, news broke that Lindsay Lohan, after years of offers, finally agreed to pose for Playboy Magazine for just under $1 million. Now, her rep refuses to "confirm or deny" the story and people over at Playboy are saying the same. However, no one let LiLo's mother in on the "tight lipped" rule, as she is confirming that the shoot has actually already happened!

Just this afternoon, Dina Lohan gushed that the "photo shoot went well," insinuating that her daughter is happy with the results.

Guess we'll be seeing her on the cover of the magazine in 3…2…1…

BTW - Are inmates allowed magazine subscriptions? We wouldn't want her to miss her big moment if she is, well, "occupied" elsewhere!

It's moments like these when you realize that she never had a chance.

Lindsay Lohan is once up to her elbows in legal trouble, and of course, instead if bonding together as a normally family would under such intense media scrutiny, her mother, Dina Lohan, is reportedly pimping out a tell-all book that both exploits her daughter's drug addictions and blames everyone but herself!

Not to be outdone, of course, father Michael Lohan has all kinds of opinions on the matter, and is sharing them with anyone who will listen!

According to reports, Dina Lohan is actually trying to sell a tell-all book which would cover the subject of her own daughter's substance abuse.

We all knew Lindsay Lohan had an …ambitious… family, but wow. just wow.

Michael Lohan is once again speaking out about daughter Lindsay's latest batch of problems - including her rank teeth, probation violations, and relationship with married hotelier Vikram Chatwal - and has repeated sentiments that the hard-pAArtying former actress desperately needs long-term rehab, not jail!

Dina Lohan outside East Hampton Studio Friday night, telling the press that her daughter Lindsay is "great," "wonderful," and "really on" her community service, despite reports that she was booted from her position at the Downtown Women's Center for…well, pretty much the exact opposite!

Who's shocked? Anyone?

Wonder if Judge Stephanie will be just as huge of a fan of LiLo's work ethic!

Michael Lohan has a comment to the press about his daughter and ex-wife's ridiculous behavior?!

But what IS actually shocking is that we're in agreement with him!

Apparently, everyone's favorite father of the century is not too pleased with reports that his precious little angel Lindsay and her mother, Dina, were knocking back booze faster than you can say "rehab" at Kim Kardashian's recent wedding, and of course, decided to do the right thing and contact the media to air it for the world to hear!

He says:

"My hands are in the air. I don't know what to do. Lindsay is apparently out drinking, Dina is drinking. I thought Dina was smarter than to drink around Lindsay. Not once in my life did I ever drink around my kids. I don't think support like that is going to give anyone confidence that Lindsay can come back. If anything, the public and the industry want to see that Lindsay has stable people around her - especially her parents. If Dina is staying in LA that means Cody is home alone in the hurricane. Since Dina has custody why isn't she there in New York for him? I can't get in touch with any of my kids because when Dina is around no one talks to me."

Oh yeesh, while once again, we don't think this man has any business talking smack about the mother of his children, but what else is new?

He IS right, though - if Lindsay has any REAL chance at recovery - she needs to stay away from BOTH of her parents and get herself out of Hollywood, and into serious therapy!

But we all know how likely THAT is to happen!

Too bad, so sad!
