Monday marks the second anniversary of Cory Monteith's tragic death.
Although the Glee star succumbed to a drug and alcohol overdose, his memory still lives on in those closest to him.
Including his former flame Lea Michele.
That same day, the 28-year-old actress took to Twitter to remember her former co-star and boyfriend.
Awwe, you'll always be with us, Cory!
We may be done with Glee, which aired its series finale on March 20 after six seasons on Fox, but the show brings us one last treat on their upcoming DVD in the form of an ode to the late star Cory Monteith (below).
Cory's death, which happened in July 2013 of a drug overdose at the age of 31, was quite a shock to both fans of the show and the cast. Cory and his character, Finn Hudson, received a special episode dedicated to him, but he was so impactful and important to the show they needed to say one last special goodbye.
Us Weekly got an exclusive peek at the DVD extra which has the cast and creators talking about Cory's impact on the show and how much they truly miss him.
One of the actors, Mike O'Malley, who played Monteith's step-father remembers Monteith by saying:
Lea Michele is loving love!
On Sunday, the Scream Queens star took to Instagram to give BF, Matthew Paetz a shout-out for his birthday.
ZOMG. We are crying legit tears right now.
By his family, friends, and especially by Lea Michele.
On Monday, the 28-year-old sent out a sweet message on her own Twitter and wrote in memory of her past love:
Happy birthday, Cory!
If the actor were still with us today, he'd be turning 33. Sigh, you will always be in our hearts!!
