Heather Is Back, Bitches!!!

ability_092909_heather_locklear_124.jpg

With the ratings on the new Melrose Place doing so poorly, we're really hoping to get to watch the return of Amanda Woodward!

Heather Locklear was snapped on the set yesterday, looking lovely and yet devious in a red dress as she got into character.

Unfortunately, we have our doubts that her episode will even air as it's set to hit the airwaves in mid November.

If the ratings keep tanking, odds are they'll cancel the show.

Let's hope we get to see Amanda return on TV.

Then they can cancel it!

Melrose Place Is Safe…For Now.

Don't be fooled by the rocky start, Melrose Place will remain on the CW block.

The network announced that it will be ordering six new scripts for the series, hoping the combination of some warm-up time plus the much anticipated return of Heather Locklear to the Place will boost it's ratings.

Other shows got some happy news this morning, including The Vampire Diaries, which has garnered itself another order of nine scripts, and One Tree Hill was give the green light for an entire seventh season.

Seventh season? Geez, someone shoot down that sinking ship. What could they all possibly still be talking about?

Melrose Debuts With A Dud!

wenn2547899mp.jpg

The series premiere of Melrose Place Tuesday night was a HUGE disappointment for The CW.

The highly advertised premiere came in a staggering last place in the network ratings!

Even last year's (now-canceled) Privileged had a bigger audience for their first episode…by 37 percent!

Ouch! The truth hurts, doesn't it, Asslee?

We're not sure if Heather Locklear can even save this hot mess of a show?

What do U think? Did U tune in last night?

Locklear Returning To Melrose Place?

wenn51378432__opt.jpg

Heather Locklear might be returning to Melrose Place!!!!

FINALLY, some good news for the show.

According to reports, Locklear is currently in talks now to return to the show as the lovely and conniving Amanda Woodward.

The thought that Locklear is even considering returning is helping us get over the fact that Asslee Simpson's role on the show might ruin it all.

Earlier this year we mentioned that Locklear had reportedly turned down returning because execs couldn't agree to her money demands.

What's changed? Are they gonna end up paying her more?

Whatever it takes, bbs.

Just bring back Locklear!

Another former cast member is heading back to Melrose Place that isn't Heather Locklear!!!

Daphne Zuniga has signed on to reprise her role as Jo in The CW remake!

For two episodes, that is.

In the updated story line, Jo will head back to the Place after enjoying the fruits of her labor as a professional photographer.

Zuniga will join Josie Bissett, Laura Leighton and Thomas Calabro as the fourth original cast member to strike a deal to appear on the new Melrose Place.

The show debuts September 8th on The CW, which is plenty of time for Heather to join her old cast-mates!!!

Melrose Place Welcomes Another Familiar Face

wenn-josie.jpg

Just like the new incarnation of Beverly Hills 90210, the revamp of Melrose Place is welcoming back original cast members to bring in first generation viewers.

It was announced this morning that Josie Bissett will return to her former stomping ground as Jane Andrews Mancini, sister to Laura Leighton's Sydney Andrews, who is also slated to appear.

Still no word on Heather Locklear, though.

Stop pulling a Tiffani Thiessen and just get your ass on the show!

Shue Knows Melrose Ain't His Place Anymore

Filed under: TV News > Melrose Place

Unlike other celebrities that have embraced the remakes of their 90s TV hits, Andrew Shue has no desire to return to the place that started his career: Melrose Place.

In a new interview, Shue admits there's no way he would be making an appearance in the show revamp as the adorable Billy Campbell: “I thought for a while, ‘Yeah, it’s great.’ But now I think any great show that had its run and had its place in pop culture should only have one run. Melrose Place was a great show in its time, and if I were calling the shots, I would say don’t bring it back. Leave it as it was at its time. That’s the way it should be.”

No luck with that, not after the success of 90210.

But don't feel so blue Melrose fans. Remember that you will still get to see some familiar faces. So far Laura Leighton and Thomas Calabro will be making appearances alongside the new cast.

And, of course, some people are just desperate to get on the show. See Lisa Rinna above. She went around El Lay with a petitions and her washboard sign trying to get on the show.

Sad.
