Times have been tough for Mischa Barton!
The former star of The O.C. has gone through some personal struggles in the last few years, and now she's facing a financial battle with Volkswagen.
The German car company says she leased a car from them and then
Well this is going to make getting to her court dates even more of a challenge.
That's because the 29-year-old actress is extremely close to getting her brand-new car repossessed.
According to reports, the O.C. star bought her Audi back in March and only has to pay $700 a month to keep the lease… except she hasn't paid anything in the last six months.
This paired with the heartbreaking lawsuit she has against her mother must be quite stressful on her right now.
Hopefully Mischa gets everything sorted out… and soon!

Her hair is full of secrets!
Mischa Barton's voluminous hair was worthy of a lion's mane at the AMBI Benefit Gala in Toronto on Wednesday.
The former OC star gave us major '80s vibes with her teased-up 'do and low-cut bright red dress.
Her red lipstick and bronzer also added to the glamour, as did her overall poise and confident composure.
Doesn't she look awesome?
All grown up and ready to take on the world?

Are we dreaming?!
It looks like the creators of Cruel Intentions: The Musical — currently running at The Rockwell in Los Angeles — already have their next project lined up: The O.C. Musical!
That's right! A musical based on the 2003-07 Fox hit about drama in the wealthy upper class suburb of Newport Beach!
Creators Jordan Ross and Lindsey Rosin silently created a brand new Twitter account for the production and have been dropping hints for weeks.
But on Wednesday they made it official by tweeting out that the show will be a one night only performance that takes place
The actress was at Canon Hollywood to see Bhopal: A Prayer For Rain on Friday when the top she was wearing revealed way more than the actress probably wanted!
AKA a nip slip happened!!!
But it was the person sitting next to her - Martin Sheen - who had the most priceless look on his face as Mischa leaned over and seemed totally oblivious to the nip-slip happening.
Honestly wardrobe malfunctions happen to the best of us, but it just so happens that Mischa is a celebrity and thus has to deal with the spotlight that hovers over accidents like this.
No worries, Mischa! Just maybe pop on a bra next time!

This whole thing must've been a very difficult choice for Mischa Barton.
It came to light on Wednesday that the O.C. actress was suing her mother, Nuala Barton, for allegedly taking her money and kicking Mischa out of her own home in Beverly Hills, California.
What a sad situation.
A source close to the 29-year-old is saying Mischa is totally heartbroken over this move, but her mom forced her hand. They said:
"She is heartbroken by this, and she didn't want to do it. She hates the attention, but she didn't have a choice."
The insider then went on to reveal their mother-daughter relationship has been strained for years.
They recalled the similar incident happening a couple years ago, and it was only until now Mischa decided to take matters into her own hands.
The source said:
Mischa Barton Is Suing Her Mother For Some CAH-Razy Reasons! Take A Sneak Peek At The Insane Lawsuit HERE!
Yikes! This is some family drama that we would NOT want to be a part of!
Mischa Barton is suing her own mother/manager for reportedly taking a hefty sum from the actress' salary on a recently filmed movie AND for kicking her out of her own home in Beverly Hills!
According to the filed lawsuit against Nuala Barton, the 29-year-old is claiming her mother is a:
"Greedy stage mother posing as a talent manager."
The document also says Nuala lied to Mischa about her income for her work on the flick, The Hoarder — the actress found out what she was actually making from the production company on the set.
Mischa wrote in the lawsuit Nuala took the difference and a 10% management fee, but no specific numbers were revealed in the legal docs.
Not only did her madre take moolah from her paycheck, Mish claims Nuala used her name to start a handbag line and to open a Mischa Barton fashion boutique across the pond in London — and kept all the profits for herself!
Now onto the next and last part of the lawsuit — this one's a doozy! As if the other stuff mentioned before this wasn't!
