Joan is probably turning in her grave!
As everyone who follows entertainment knows, The Oscars were presented on Sunday!
After the glaring misdeed, people on Twitter simply weren't having it, and The Academy has already issued a statement, saying:
This is pretty brave!
NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden hasn't been back to the United States since the WikiLeaks scandal, but his girlfriend Lindsay Mills is a different story.
The model proudly stood on stage during the Oscars, as Director Laura Poitras and Glenn Greenwald accepted the award for best documentary feature, for their flick Citizenfour. She was seemingly quietly taking the stage in Snowden's stead.
Meanwhile, Neil Patrick Harris made a joke about Snowden, saying, "Edward Snowden couldn't be here, for some treason."
But Snowden did release a statement in conjunction with the win:
It looks like this year's show may have had the lowest ratings in four years!
Based on the early numbers, NPH's Oscars viewership is down 10 percent from Ellen DeGeneres' 2014 show.
Of course, it's not necessarily fair to blame Neil for lack of interest.
It's always helpful for ratings when people really connect to the movies that are up for awards — it's especially good if there are some big blockbusters in the mix.
This year's selection of art films and prestige biopics may have been critically lauded, but there were definitely some audience favorites — like The LEGO Movie for instance — that were completely ignored by the Academy.
We'll have to wait and see if producers end up making any big changes to try to turn the ratings around next year.
Not only was his opening number freaking AH-Mazing, but the bit where he stripped down to his undees had everyone dying with laughter!
It was a very risky move and the show's host HAD to be nervous about it, right?!
Well according to NPH, he wasn't!
The 41-year-old explained how he felt in the moment at the Governor's Ball after the show, saying:
What better way to celebrate the 2015 Oscars than with the best tweets of the night!
From funny to serious and everything else in between, some of our fave celebs SLAYED the twitterverse with their candid and hilarious remarks!
Take the comedian Billy Eichner, who spoke out against The Academy for neglecting to include Joan Rivers in their In Memoriam segment. Or what about last year's host, Ellen DeGeneres, congratulating Neil Patrick Harris on a job well done?
Yep, last night was a good night to be a celeb on Twitter!

The host with the most wore the least clothing ever when he got caught mid-wardrobe change!

You know what? Video just isn't good enough! Let's dissect that in GIFs:
Not to mention pulling a Billy Crystal and jumping into the movies all over again!
