After complaints from parents, schools, and psychologists, Scholastic Inc. has decided to no longer offer Bratz books.
Yes, them hos have their own books!
And even psychologists are unhappy about it!
Scholastic sells discounted books to teachers and students through book fairs and book clubs, but now, after a push led by the Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood, Bratz products will not be appearing on shelves or in catalogs at school.
MGA Entertainment Inc's Bratz dolls - adorned in miniskirts, belly shirts, high heel boots, and, as a New Yorker article put it, "the sly, dozy expression of a party girl after one too many mojitos" - have proved so popular among little girls, that the brand has spun off into a full line of merchandise, including a computer game with print out patterns to design the perfect purse.
As if little girls didn't have enough slutty role models out there!
The Campaign argued that through Scholastic, the Bratz image was being endorsed by schools to children.
Scholastic defended their initial support of Bratz, saying that the books inspired "reluctant readers" and as a company they are more concerned with "materials that appeal to children where they are, not where we would like them to be."
In other words, once they become teenage mall sluts, it's not really their problem.
With the books pulled from Scholastic, parents can now find something else to bitch about!

They just don't make 'em like they used to!
The original diva, Bette Davis, is being honored starting Thursday with a 42-cent commemorative stamp. The stamp features the actress as she appeared in the 1950 film All About Eve. In the classic movie, she portrays an aging stage actress defending her career from a pushy young starlet.
Davis starred in more than one hundred films since her early start, during which she won acclaim for playing tough unsympathetic characters, and during her career she was nominated for more than ten of her roles. She won an Oscar in 1935 for Dangerous and in 1938 for Jezebel.
Aging with grace and style, she used the experience her years had earned her to portray a tormented former child star in What Ever Happened to Baby Jane, garnering yet another Oscar nomination.
Stirring up drama with a style that Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton could only dream of, Davis was rumored to be occasionally difficult to work with and was even involved in a feud with fellow diva Joan Crawford, which both denied.
They were probably lesbian lovers secretly!
Davis died in France in 1989, choosing the epitaph "She did it the hard way" to celebrate her perseverance and success as a woman in a male-dominated industry. She was, after all, the first woman to be honored with the American Film Institute's Lifetime Achievement Award and the first woman to be president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Her composure, strength, and inexplicable appeal will always be remembered and is even honored in song in the Kim Carnes song Bette Davis Eyes, which was just covered by Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester.
Her son, Michael Merrill, said of the postage stamp commemoration, "She would have been tremendously thrilled."
Live on, diva!

Slated to begin production in October, The House on Sorority Row just got a new pledge!
Audrina Patridge and her spacey eyes are rushing alongside Briana Evigan and Rumer Willis in Stewart Hendler's remake of the 1983 slasher flick where a mysterious stalker pursues a group of girls after an innocent prank ends in murder and secrets.
If Paris Hilton can manage to scream and die believably, we've no doubt that Audrina will be perfect for the role.
Now the only problem is we we can't decided who we want to die first.
Care to make this interesting?
P.S. Audrina needs to get naked and show off her boobies in the film.
She paid good money for them!!!!

Paris Hilton attended the Fifth Annual Summer’s End Beach Party benefiting Nevada Cancer Institute on Saturday night.
The reality TV veteran took to the stage and encouraged party-goers to open their hearts and their wallets and give generously to NVCI, saying "everyone has been touched by cancer in one way or another."
Paris' grandmother battled breast cancer.
This is the second time that Paris has attended a Nevada Cancer Institute fundraiser to support the cause close to her heart.
The event raised more than $1.5 million.

Here's something we didn't see coming.
You know Paris Hilton has done almost everything to market and brand herself. From modeling, to acting, to appearing in several reality shows, clothing, purfumes, and the list goes on.
But, this time around, the Hilton heiress is teaming up with Ryan Seacrest. Yes, Seacrest.
Why?
It turns out the two are going to work together with their companies, Paris Hilton Entertainment and Ryan Seacrest Productions, to develop a new, scripted TV series!
And what does Seacrest think of Paris?
He says, "Paris knows exactly how to have fun with herself. She works hard but doesn't take herself too seriously."
So Paris, Seacrest, and Paris' main business guy, Jason Moore, will all produce.
The concept for the series is still be decided on, but Seacrest did say, "This show will be loud."
Well, let's just hope it doesn't suck! And not TOO loud!

Wherever Benji Madden goes, Paris Hilton is sure to follow!
The Good Charlotte rocker and his girlfriend of around 9 months now have hit Canada.
Paris is there for the TIFF premiere of her new documentaru, Paris, Not France. And, Benji is there with her.
And, while you're there, why not get paid?
Monday night, Madden played DJ at Ultra Supper Club in Toronto and Hilton was with his all night long.
A partygoer there tells us:
Good party. They got in, and Paris spent every 12 seconds on a careful rotation. 3 sec snuggling Benji, 3 seconds primping and 3 seconds checking her look int the mirror.. for hours. But Benjis set wasnt bad. Every 5 min shed pretend to sip on her drink and pose. it was HOT.
Sounds like fun!

Benji Madden and Paris Hilton enjoyed a romantical date on Monday, taking in lunch at Il Pastaio restaurant in Beverly Hills.
The Good Charlotte rocker has been on the road with his band, and Hilton has joined them for many stops along the way.
Distance will soon be an issue again for these two.
Paris is going to be heading to London in October for several weeks to film the British version of her B.F.F. show.
Expect to see Madden for at least a bit of her stay!

Paris Hilton is super happy y'all, and she wants the world to know it!
The iconic blonde just posted the following on her official blog:
"Summer Update and My New BFF!
Current mood: excited
Hey everyone,
Hope you're all having a wonderful summer. This is actually the first summer where I didn't just lounge around in St. Tropez or a private beach somewhere–I didn't take a vacation this summer because it's been non- stop work.
I've been shooting the show, editing it, traveling to Europe to promote my handbag line and fragrance, designing my fall collection for my shoes and clothing line, and working in my studio on a new album. So professionally its been a very successful and productive summer. My favorite part of the summer has been the time I've gotten to spend on tour with my love Benj We always have the best time together and he's played some shows in some pretty rad places: Orlando for example, so we got to go to Disney World, which is always a blast! He's such an amazing boyfriend and so talented too…I love watching him perform on stage, so hot! Loves it!
Life couldn't be better; I have a great boyfriend and a new best friend. I'm so excited to announce that I've wrapped taping of "Paris Hilton's My New BFF." I've been LOVING every moment in the editing room, and am sitting there literally in tears, every day, laughing so hard at all the priceless moments from the footage. Also I'm thinking that a lot of the crazier scenes might just end up on the DVD….there is so much footage and even though some will be edited out as all shows must do, I want you to be able to see it and laugh as much as I have been!
When I was little I loved playing with dolls. Now that I'm grown up, this show concept has given me my own real live dollhouse by having the BFF contestants. Imagine all the trouble and fun I could cause all at once just with a text on my blackberry, from me to them…I'm sure you and your friends do a lot of my communicating by text–it's crazy to imagine how important that has become. I will admit…I love texting So it was naturally part of taping the show with the BFF contestants…I can't wait for you to see how we used the messages throughout the show.
These kids are gonna blow your minds and touch your hearts with what they go through and reveal. They were sweet and fun and a little crazy! Ha…I can't wait for you all to see the drama of having these girls and guys living under my roof. It was definitely an experience I will cherish forever and never forget. I made friends that I will have for a lifetime.
Wednesday, we all got together at a hotel in LA and shot the casting special that you will all get to see in the next few weeks on MTV. I really wanted you guys to be introduced to these kids and see some sneak peeks from the show. It was so much fun to see everyone again. We had a great time. I took lots of pictures, so I'll post them soon. And because I had so much fun doing this one, I decided I need to find my new British BFF…Everyone knows I love LA. But London, watch out – I'm coming to town and bringing my fast-paced life with me. I'm in the UK all the time, but of course I can't bring all my friends, so I've decided to look for a new BFF across the pond. I need a best friend who is hot, who can keep up with me, and most of all, who is real and won't be a backstabber. I'm not leaving London until I find that amazing girl or guy who can meet the challenges of being my British bestie!I am so excited! London is one of my favorite cities in the world. Or should I say, favourite. Click here for more info if you live anywhere in the UK!
I love you guys! xoxo Paris
Paris Hilton's My New BFF premieres at 10pm on Tuesday, September 30th on MTV. Tune in, its gonna be hot Loves it!"

What Paris Hilton wants, she gets!
Paris is in need of a British BFF and she's turning to the UK's ITV television channel for help.
The ITV reality show, Paris Hilton’s New Best Friend, will follow the heiress as she flies to the UK for an intensive search for a new friend she can depend on.
The program is a spin-off of her upcoming MTV show where Hilton tries to find a new BFF.
Make money here. Make money in the U.K.
Smart!
Paris said in a statement:
“Everyone knows I love LA, but London, watch out – I’m coming to town and bringing my fast-paced life with me. I’m in the UK all the time, but of course I can’t bring all my friends, so I’ve decided to look for a new BFF across the pond. I need a best friend who is hot, who can keep up with me, and most of all, who is real and won't be a backstabber. I’m not leaving London until I find that amazing girl or guy who can meet the challenges of being my British bestie!”
If you're a British lad or lass between the ages of 18 and 28 with the attitude, charm and personality to win over Paris, send an email to paris@itv.com before September 1st for an application.
Good luck!
