Hey Norma,
I am a swimming pool junky and i am wondering - how can i get the green out of my hair after swimming in the pool all day?
Thanks!
Jackie
Hair and makeup expert Norma Blaque's response:
Hi Jackie,
Green hair was my problem as a child, I wish my mom knew of these simple home secrets.
-A translucent hue of green can be easily fixed with, believe it or not, tomato paste. No joke, spread it all over your hair and leave it in for 30-45 minutes. Once is enough at the end of the summer :)
-A good clarifying shampoo, my favorites; Paul Mitchell Shampoo Two Clarifying Shampoo, Joice KPAK Clarifying Shampoo and Red-ken Chemistry Shampoo.
-At the end of spring time begin a green hair prevention ritual:
Mix 1 part deep conditioner of your choice to 5 parts of water and mix well in empty spray bottle. Spray it into your hair every time before you go swimming throughout the whole summer or whenever you swim.
Hope this helps you and HAPPY SWIMMING!!

Hey Norma,
Any recommendations on a great Leave In Conditioner? My hair is parched and damaged and it needs some love. I am happy to make my own home made mix to if you have a recipe?
Thanks
Elisha
Hair and makeup expert Norma Blaque's response:
Hi Elisha,
Thanks for writing in :)
My personal favorite is Moroccan Oil Intense Hydrating Hair Mask.
What I do is mix 1 part product to 5 parts water into an empty spray bottle. Shake it up reeeeeealllly good and spray away, your hair will LOVE it!
For a more affordable treatment, I recommend Pantene Pro V Relaxed and Natural Breakage Defense Deep Conditioning Mask
I mix this up in the same ratio, have FUN!

Hi Leah,
I spend a lot of money on a mani pedi every week and my nail polish chips straight away even after using enamel – got any tips so that it doesn’t crack?
Thanks Sam
Celebrity nail artist Leah Light responds:
Hi Sam
My suggestion would have to be switching to a professional gel polish … they are the AMAZING!! A good quality gel polish will last between 2 – 3 weeks will ensure you don’t ever have to deal with chips or smudges again!! The brand I use and highly recommend is Artistic Color Gloss, I find it to be the best available to date with over 66 colors and it lasts aprox 21 days with absolutely no damage to the natural nails at all!
I hope that helps you.

Hi Leah,
What would you recommend as a great top coat – mine seems to leave bubbles on it?
Thanks
Ali
Celebrity nail artist Leah Light has a simple solution:
Hi Ali
My all time favourite top coat would have to be the Lumos top coat by Famous Names. It dries fast and solid in 10 minutes and leaves your polish with a high shine! Love love love
I hope that helps you

Im looking for very sexy granny panties? I want to get my gf some sexy undies as I am taking her away on a trip! I've bought her thongs and bikinis before and she wont wear them so I would like to get some in her style so she will use them.
Thanks,
Trevor
To which Netta P responds:
hey trevor! that is so sweet of you. i recommend that you swing by the shop on my blog for some of my most recent fave picks: http://xoxonettap.com/shopping/bras-panties/ . i love the stuff from lane bryant (and it's super comfy), and i also love hips and curves. have you thought of maybe going shopping WITH her somewhere to see what she likes exactly? maybe you two can sit down together at the computer and pick out some things together. never know where that might lead … and before the trip even gets started! ;) seriously though, y'all have fun and be safe. [no pun intended.] i know. I'M SO BAD! #teamgrannypanty

Hi Leah!
So my NYE Resolution is to STOP biting my nails - any points / suggestions /
products? Appreciate your help.
Thanks, James
Celebrity nail artist Leah Light to the rescue!
Hi James
!
Ok this is a tricky one … Firstly let me say well done on the forward thinking! Preparation is always key when it comes to making any plans to do something.
You should make sure you have a good nail oil on hand at all times, this way you can try to replace the habit of nibbling with that of applying oil! Not only will that make you feel good but it will also help with the circulation and growth of the nails. Keep a nail file at the ready for any little emergency snags or tears you may get, this is a sure fire way to keep them out of your mouth! Personally I am not a fan of the bad tasting nail treatments you can get (if you are an accomplished nail biter, you get used to the awful taste rather quickly) however anything is worth a try if its really something you want to do.
Good Luck :)

Hi NettaP!
Where is a good store to by womens tall jeans?
Thanks, Rachel
The fashionably fabulous Netta P responds:
Hey Rachel!
There are lots of good options out there for my long and lovely ladies. It will depend on where you live whether or not there are good options for you to visit in-person. Old Navy has some excellent, affordable jeans for the tall ladies, and so does One Stop Plus. Long Tall Sally might be good, especially if you're not above a size 18 (not 18W). just look for the "T" when you're shopping for jeans!
