As we just recently mentioned, Russell Brand went vegan because of the documentary Forks Over Knives.

Well Forks Over Knives has claimed another victim swayed another person.

Ozzy Osbourne is going vegan!

The Prince of Darkness, the most brutal of all rockers, is going to try going vegan to get healthier.

While on his wife, Sharon's, talk show, he said:

Russell Brand has been a vegetarian for a long time but he's just recently declared over Twitter that he's going full-on vegan.

He tweeted:

"I'm now vegan, goodbye eggs, hello Ellen"

After his shout out to fellow vegan Ellen DeGeneres, he retweeted his wife, Katy Perry, who said:

"Me & the Mr. just watched "Forks Over Knives". You can get it on Netflix!"

Apparently the documentary was the turning point for Brand. It's basically about removing animal-based and processed foods from your diet to control diseases and ailments. The films official website reads:

"The idea of food as medicine is put to the test. Throughout the film, cameras follow "reality patients" who have chronic conditions from heart disease to diabetes.

Doctors teach these patients how to adopt a whole foods plant-based diet as the primary approach to treat their ailments – while the challenges and triumphs of their journeys are revealed."

Sounds like a cool documentary. We wonder what Russell now knows that we don't…

Katy Perry has been caught in the act! The pop star told her hubby Russell Brand she was becoming a vegetarian but friends say she's been sneaking meat. Shame on her!!

According to our source:

“Russell has been a veggie for 22 years, but Katy adores meat. She did give it up for a while for Russell’s sake but is finding it a struggle.”

Aw, that's alright Katy! We're sure Russell's just glad your trying. The British actor has been has vegetarian for over 22 years! He says he stuck with the meat-free lifestyle even in his hardest times. Russ once said:

“Even as a junkie I stayed true to vegetarianism. I shall have heroin, but I shan’t have a hamburger. What a sexy little paradox.”

Okay, well, honestly that's a lot to live up to. Being a vegetarian is harder for some people than others.

Maybe, if you keep it up, PETA will even vote you "World's Sexiest Vegetarian of the Year" like Russell was this year!

Katy Perry and Russell Brand have hired a cat whisperer.

The couple -– who have three furry friends, Krusty, Kitty Purry and Morrissey — brought in a feline expert after the trio started to misbehave while the KP was on tour.

Katy admitted,

“He realigned their chakras and did some hypnosis. We were like, ‘Wow, this is extravagant!’"

But she's not the only one guilty of kitty extravagance. Russlle also gives more than attention to his special cats. He said:

“I like doing normal things for Christmas — watch the TV , sit down, relax, look out the window, play with the cats, give presents to the cats, expecting that they’ll somehow understand he concept of nativity, that sort of thing,”

Russell Brand is having a super fab June!

Just 10 days after he was was invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the British comedian won the title of World's Sexiest Vegetarian.

The actor/comedian beat out Joaquin Phoenix to land atop the male countdown, while Bridesmaids star Kristen Wiig finished ahead of new mommy Natalie Portman and Anne Hathaway on the women's poll.

The meat-free celebrity list is compiled annually by activists at PETA.

While taking her California Dreams Tour Down Under, Katy Perry has been taking in the sights and making most of her time in Australia and New Zealand. She went bungee jumping on Saturday — which must have only been a minor thrill compared to her time at Sydney's Taronga Zoo on Thursday.

Katy tweeted:

"Sucking face with a kanga. yep."

At the zoo, the pop star helped feed some giraffes, checked out a brown bear, and best of all, shared a kiss with a kangaroo.

We hope her hubby Russell Brand doesn't get too jealous!

Katy Perry enjoyed a trip with friends to Taronga Zoo in Sydney Australia early Thursday.

The pop princess was wearing a 1950's style top by Australian label "Wheels and Doll Baby", and skin tight jeans as she explored the enclosures.

She larked about with the giraffes and marvelled at the brown bear with friends.

Katy might have been inspired to visit animlas after seeing how much fun her hubby Russell Brand at a zoo in Florida had Sunday.
