Earlier this week, Boston Bombing survivor Rebekah DiMartino had us grinning ear to ear when she decided to write a surprisingly light-hearted and funny "breakup" letter to her soon-to-be-amputated leg!
Well, the loving mother and wife has finally gone under the knife, and the loss of her limb has not changed her upbeat attitude one bit!!
While amputating her leg may not have been an easy decision, Rebekah continues to look at the positive aspects of her new life after 18 months of pain and numerous procedures! In fact, now that she's recovering from her surgery, she says she feels GREAT:
While some people dream of having big breasts, there can be too much of a good thing.
Kerisha Mark suffered from a condition that made her breasts grow to the bust size 36NNN!
So, she did her homework and got in touch with renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Franklin Rose in Houston.
As a celebration of her 40th birthday, Miz Mark got 15lbs of tissue removed and is happier than ever!
Her transformation is truly incredible, and the best thing is that now Kerisha can live the life she always dreamed of!
Ch-ch-check out the whole story
Jayci Underwood has joined a long line of people who've been video taped while in a post-dental surgery, anesthesia-induced stupor.
Should we start getting worried about the possibility that lots of these people are playing up their post-surgery confusion to make funny internet videos??
This woman is super upset she didn't wake up looking like Nicki Minaj!! Yup, she says Nicki is so beautiful and has a great butt and she wants it all. She also is shocked to find out she's still 'white!'
This is so incredible!! Way to go, science!
A paralyzed man was able to walk again after doctors performed an amazing procedure.
Doctors took olfactory cells (scent smelling cells) and transplanted them into the patient's spinal cord. The patient was paralyzed from the chest down after a knife attack severed his spine.
When people tuned into Wednesday morning's episode of the Fox News program Fox & Friends, something was different.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck was nowhere to be found!
Fellow news personality Kimberly Guilfoyle sat in for Elizabeth, and the world isn't so sure what's going on quite yet!
Co-host Steve Doocy said:
Ian Nichols, 76, has been blind for about 20 years due to a degenerative eye condition.
It's called retinitis pigmentosa and because of it, he knows what it's like to hold his grandchildren, but he's never seen them as they've grown.
Until now that is!!
Thanks to a Toronto hospital doing a study, Ian was able to get a "bionic eye!"
We guess it's true what they say: giving birth really IS a miracle!!
A 36-year-old Swedish woman recently made history as she became the first person EVER to give birth after having undergoing a womb transplant!
The new mother, who wishes to remain nameless, was told she had no womb at just 15-years-old, making it impossible for her to have kids. However, doctors DID mention the possibility of a transplant, although they made it clear that nothing was guaranteed!
