Guess she didn't figure an ex into this nerd prom equation!
Bonafide blonde bombshell Jessica Simpson was in the nation's capitol for the White House Correspondents' Dinner on Saturday, looking to have a nice time out with her fiancé Eric Johnson.
Little did the 33-year-old singer know, her former Cowboys' quarterback boyfriend Tony Romo would be in attendance with his wife of almost three years, Candice Crawford!
Jess and Tony, who started dating in 2007 and split in July 2009, didn't talk during the evening, and totally avoided seeing each other for the night of political laughter!
An insider revealed that their clever seating prevented them from an awkward ex-encounter:
We can’t say that we’re surprised.
E-Poll Market Research did a survey on the Most-Disliked NFL Players, and the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback’s dogfighting past is still hanging over him, with 53 percent of people disliking Vick.
It hasn’t seemed to hurt his endorsement deals too much though.
Here’s the rest of the list:
Tony Romo has scored off the football field.
The Dallas Cowboys quarterback has announced that he's having a new baby, and he did it in the most classiest way possible!
In a room full of fans!!!
His wife Candice Crawford just had a little one last year, and we can't wait to see the new baby pictures in nine months!
We wonder how Jessica Simpson feels about all of this.
See Romo make the announcement (above) !!!
Each of them

It really isn’t as weird as it sounds.
Producers Michael Cohl and Jeremiah Harris invite anyone named Tony, Toni, Antonio, or… well, you get the picture, to attend their company’s June 3 performance for absolutely free!
Wow!! We love a bargain!
June 3 is also the day the Tony Awards are broadcast.
See, Spidey’s was mostly overlooked by the nominating committee and the producers of the hit play (yes, those producers) refuse to take their snubbing sitting down.
They explained their strategy in a joint statement:
As you've probably heard, Candice Crawford said 'I do' to Tony Romo over the weekend in Texas a now we have all the deets on what she wore!
Unlike Tony's former flame Jessica Simpson, Candice already knew what she was going to wear on her big day: a St. Pucchi gown designed by Rani Totman.
The ball gown, which Candice picked out years in advance, was made from 100% pure silk duchess satin and included a handcrafted floral bodice that was adorned with ostrich feathers, rhinestones and crystal beading.
But wait there's more!
Crawford worked closely with the designer on the alterations and had it customized with a keyhole back and voluminous skirt with a detachable semi-cathedral train.
Dayum. Sounds heavy!
Even though Candice made sure she got her dream dress, Rani Totman insisted she wasn't a bridezilla. He said working with her was "a true pleasure" and "it was an incredible experience watching the dress come to life on her."
