In case you didn’t know, May is Melanoma Awareness Month, and SpaFinder is getting in on the cause by selling bracelets that darken to purple when exposed to UV rays.

The bracelets act as a reminder to always wear sunscreen.

As a part of breast cancer awareness month, a non-profit has been selling $4 rubber bracelets to that say “I (heart) boobies,” and school administrators are not happy about it. They feel that the word “boobies” in inappropriate for kids.

The non-profit, Keep A Breast Foundation's, idea for the bracelet is that kids would be more interested in buying the bracelet if it pushed the envelop a little bit. And they were correct — they’ve sold 2 million.

Some schools are ordering students to wear the bracelets inside out, and others have banned them.

We think everyone should be allowed to wear them! Of course they’re a little edgy, but that’s what makes them so effective!
