How AH-MAYZING is this???

It's been four months since Sandy Hook Elementary experienced a horrific massacre, and while everyone affected by the tragedy is still healing, offensive tackle David Diehl and his New York Giants headed to Newtown, Connecticut to spend a day with the children who were affected by the horrible event.

Just about 20 players got on a bus and went to Newtown to not only entertain children from Sandy Hook, but also to get together with kiddies from other elementary schools nearby.

The Mayor of East Haven, Connecticut is as close as we're going to get to a real life Michael Scott from The Office.

He stumbles through the interview and thinks he's being harmless when he says wildly offensive things, like supporting the Latino community by going home and making tacos.

It's almost as if he has no idea that saying something like is absurdly wrong!

We are so glad to see that Carrie Fisher has gotten her health back on track by losing 50 pounds.

But that's not all she did — she also attributes a lot to the psychiatric hospital Silver Hill in New Canaan, Connecticut.

"You have that last gigantic meal, look in the mirror. None of your clothes fit, and … forget it. I have a lot of trouble I really have to be held down when I pass a 31 flavors. You do the treadmill first, which is this horrendous, evil thing. And then you get on the elliptical for 30 to 52 minutes."

So it's all about discipline and find the help that you need.

Be it Jenny Craig (who Carrie is a spokesperson for), or a therapist, or both!

As long as you get healthy and do it in a healthy way, it doesn't matter!

Ugh! This is so lame.

A bunch of homophobic Connecticut high school football players walked out of a Hartford Public High School performance of the musical Zanna Don't after two male actors shared a "brief kiss" on stage.

The kiss must have been their breaking point considering the musical offers a bit of a heterosexual and homosexual role reversal.

Zanna Don't depicts life at a fictitious high school where academically minded LGBT students run the hallways, while heterosexuals and jocks are instead picked on for being different.

Adam Johnson, principal of the school's Government and Law Academy, described the incident by saying:

DUI checkpoints can save lives by catching intoxicated drivers before they get into an accident. However, a checkpoint in Plainville, Connecticut over the weekend proved they can also START lives.

While conducting interviews with every driver passing through, officers came across Mr. and Mrs. Trevor Hairston at 12:50am who were just minutes away from giving birth!

With an ambulance ten minutes away, the officers jumped into the car and into action by successfully delivering 5lbs and 7oz Christian Hairston without any paramedics on scene!

Incredible! Definitely an amazing birth story for the Haiston's to share again and again with family and friends.

We're so happy for this family and are majorly impressed with the five-0 responsible for this miraculous delivery!
