no title

More reports are surfacing about former NAACP Chapter President Rachel Dolezal after it came to light that she was pretending to be African American for over a decade!

A former Eastern Washington University student revealed that the 37-year-old would not let her participate in a class exercise that centered around race — because she thought the student "didn't look hispanic enough!"

The student, who wished to remain anonymous, detailed that she identifies as Hispanic, as she grew up in a Spanish-speaking country and speaks the language fluently.

Patrick Stewart Bakery

Honestly, we're a little surprised…

If you haven't heard, Ashers Bakery in Belfast, Ireland recently lost a court case when a judge ruled that the baker Daniel McArthur had "unlawfully discriminated" against a gay rights activist.

Gareth Lee asked for a cake that had the Sesame Street characters Bert and Ernie on it with the words "Support Gay Marriage" in icing. McArthur refused to make it, giving the following reason:

"We don't want to be forced to promote a cause which is against our biblical beliefs."

Ashers Bakery have been ordered by the court to pay 500 pounds ($765) in damages for discrimination. However, they have said that they're going to appeal.

Now it seems they have some support from an unlikely source: Sir Patrick Stewart! The X-Men star has come out backing the bakery for their decision!

Stewart explained on Newsnight:

They were turned down for WHAT?!

A new report has surfaced which has us really disturbed! Airbnb, the popular lodge rental website, recently banned one of its users, a woman by the name of Heather, for discriminating against gays. She allegedly kicked Jonathan Wang and his partner Brent out of her home in Galveston, Texas… AFTER they had already booked and unpacked.

Now we're all for people being entitled to their own opinions, but not like this! Wang recounted the situation:

"Heather asked me, where my wife was. Who is this person? I said it was my significant other Brent. She said I thought you were bringing a wife. I said I didn't say that specifically. I said is that going to be OK? She said. It's not."

As a result of being kicked out, Jonathan and Brent had to find a hotel last minute to book.

Airbnb not only responded to the situation, but you'll never guess what they had to say about Heather's treatment of the situation. Watch (below)!

All of those donations apparently helped.

Memories Pizza, the controversial Indiana pizzeria whose owners claimed they wouldn't cater to a gay wedding because of their religious beliefs, reopened on Thursday night and hosted a full house when they did.

The packed restaurant was filled with the owner's friends, family, and people who came down to support the controversial restaurant.

And the owner, talking at the opening night, claimed he was happy to be providing service again and would absolutely do everything the same all over again. Unfortunately.

Miley Cyrus, Hillary Clinton, & More Speak Out Against Indiana's New LGBT Discrimination Law!

no title

Indiana just passed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act after Governor Mike Pence signed it into law, and people are not happy!

Why?

Because the thrust of the new law is that businesses are now legally free to discriminate based on sexual orientation and gender identity as long as they claim their religion is against it.

[ Video: Perez Talking #BoycottDolceGabbana On CNN! ]

But not all businesses want to turn people away based on prejudice. The NCAA and Gen Con have already threatened to lessen their presence or pull out of the state entirely.

Yep, the jocks AND the nerds are against it! LOLz!

But those aren't the only strange bedfellows this deplorable bill is making! Celebs from Miley Cyrus to Hillary Clinton have come out against the law on social media.

Oh and women can no longer vote!

… is what we expect Kansas Governor Sam Brownback might say next after pulling something like this.

He rescinded an executive order that protected state employees from discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

This man literally undid the good that former Governor Kathleen Sebelius did for the LGBT community in Kansas.
