No, not part three- a remake!

Pride And Prejudice And Zombies author Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg will produce the reboot of the Joe Dante classic.

No word yet on who will write the film. Though we did hear Gizmo was looking to get into directing… LOLz!

Whoa, what??!!!

Universal had a great time with the HIGHlarious R-rated version of 21 Jump Street, and so did we!

Now they're giving screenwriter Michael Bacall a shot at re-imagining the number one teen sci-fi comedy about a wish-granting sex computer of all time!

That's right! They're remaking Weird Science!

The 1985 comedy classic starred Anthony Michael Hall and where-are-they-now-favorite Ilan Mitchell-Smith as two high school losers who use science and magic to create a sexy genie!

We're not sure we could buy Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum in this one, but we'd like to see them pop up somewhere!

Ooh, wait! Brainwave! Gender reversal! Two dorky girls can star with Channing as the sex computer!

No need to thank us, Mr. Bacall! Just make it amazing, and we'll call it even!

The original music video for Ed Sheeran's pop-folksy tune Lego House is already pretty darn AWEsome seeing as it features Harry Potter's main ginger Rupert Grint as an obsessive STALKER…

But some talented lego crafters decided to create a FULL lego shot-for-shot version of Ed's somber video, and the resulting visuals are effing IMPRESSIVE!

Hmmm, we wonder how many little plastic bricks were used in this mind blowing creation! Enough to build a life-size house out of legos?! LOLz!

We bet there are a whole lot of people still holding onto their limbs tightly this weekend!

Because Evil Dead absolutely DOMINATED the box office for its opening weekend, as it came in the number one spot with a VERY impressive $26 million…$2 million more than expected!

Meanwhile, G.I. Joe: Retaliation lost its footing not only lost it footing with the cult-classic horror remake, but also with The Croods, as the action sequel and animated comedy tied in the numbers two and three spots with $21.1 million!

And NO OTHER movie could even stand in the way of one that pretty much everyone on the planet has already seen, but not quite like this: Jurassic Park 3D!

The re-release of 1993 classic made a solid $18.2 million, and landed in the FOURTH - or third, depending on how you look at it - position!

YAY DEMONS! YAY DINOS!

Yesterday we felt compelled by some unknown force to watch the teaser for the remake of horror classic Carrie…

And it seems this strange feeling has emerged once again, as our fingers can't HELP but press the play button (above) to watch the first full-length trailer!

And ok, we know Carrie is technically telekinetic, not psychic, but who KNOWS the extent of her supernatural abilities! She could potentially be both, right??

And also, we can't help but feel that the lovely Chloë Moretz and critically acclaimed actress Julianne Moore seem almost TOO polished and pretty in their roles as the awkward outcast and shut-in religious fanatic…

But perhaps we're just partial to the original film!

Now that the dream-makers over at Disney know the company will inevitably make BANK on any remake/spin-off of a beloved classic — Oz The Great and Powerful KILLED it at the box office on opening weekend — they are planning yet ANOTHER adaptation of a past, iconic project…

Beauty and the Beast!! The film, tentatively called Beast, will be written by critically acclaimed scribe Joe Ahearn, who wrote Danny Boyle's latest flick Trance.

But wait (we hear you ask) isn't Guillermo Del Toro already directing a live-action Beauty and the Beast starring Emma Watson?! YUP, at least as far as we know! AND there is a dark and twisty French version being made starring Black Swan's Vincent Cassel!

We're VERY curious as to how Disney will set their live-action version apart from all of the others, unless they just do a shot for shot remake of the original, which would be majorly pointless.

Well, at least the House of Mouse will have (and has had) PLENTY of opportunities to test the formula with Cinderella and Angelina Jolie's Sleeping Beauty spinoff Maleficent…

We just hope hope hope that Disney doesn't damage this already flawless gem!

But our Emmarella dreamz are now DEAD, as it's officially been confirmed that Emma will NOT portray the enchanted step-child slave opposite Cate Blanchett's Evil Stepmother.
