When Spotify lost Taylor Swift and her entire discography last year, they suffered a pretty big blow.

She called them an "experiment" and said she feels they don't "fairly compensate" music makers.

While many maaaaany other artists don't share her opinion, like Jay Z who is totally on Spotify, one artist — who also happens to be Jay Z — scooped up her discography for his own steaming service!

Jay Z did it! He got Taylor's albums on his recently purchased music stream provider TIDAL.

Why would ol' Swifty suddenly let Jay Z's stream(ing service) touch her albums?
