Help Erase The Distance Between The Public And Mental Health Issues!

erasing distance

With Thanksgiving almost a week away and Christmas right around the corner, it's time to get in the giving spirit!

FitPerez was contacted by a small non-profit organization called Erasing The Distance that sheds light on mental health issues through theater and we LOVE what they're doing!

The traveling ensemble based in Chicago uses the power of performance to disarm stigma, spark dialogue, educate, and promote healing surrounding issues of mental health through powerful productions that depict the effects of childhood trauma, alcoholism, drug use, and sexual assault (to name a few).

The organization was founded in 2005 to not only perform for the public, but collaborate with the nation's youth, schools, companies, and other community organizations to encourage others to share and perform their own stories about mental health.

ETD has already been seen by thousands (26,000 to be exact), but with a simple vote on Facebook you can help increase their audience and awareness for mental health!

Take a moment of your time and click here to vote for Erasing The Distance to receive a $25,000 grant from Chase Community Giving!

This could be the easiest way to help make a difference this holiday season because they aren't asking for money, just a few moments of your time and a vote!

Need more info on the charity or want to get involved? Click here to learn more! Chase's contest ends November 22nd, so hurry up and vote!

Survey Reveals Jennifer Aniston Has THE Hottest Celebrity Body!

Jennifer Aniston hottest over 40

Yeah, we've known that for a while, but in a recent ranking, Jennifer Aniston has topped the list in not one, not two, but THREE categories!

The former Friends star may be 42-years-old now, but she looks just as good (if not better) as she did when she first began playing Ross' main squeeze, Rachel!

According to a new poll conducted by FITNESS Magazine and Yahoo!, Jen not only has "the body women want most", but also "the best celebrity abs" and the best body over 40!

The actress beat out Halle Berry in two categories, which is no easy feat, and joins her ex-hubby, Brad Pitt, as the hottest actor over 40. Angelina Jolie, however, wasn't even mentioned!

Wanna see who else made the list? Check out all of the results below!

San Francisco May Actually Vote On Circumcision Ban This Fall

SF to vote on circumcision van

Time flies! It seems like just yesterday we were blabbing about a San Francisco man, Lloyd Schofield, trying to ban circumcision to prevent "genital mutilation" on baby boys.

Last November we learned he needed 7,168 signatures by about this time to get the proposal on this fall's voting ballot, but by golly, he's done it!

In fact, he got 12,000! We had no idea this was such a hot issue, but apparently there are A LOT of people against circumcision.

If the proposal passes by popular vote, it will be "unlawful to circumcise, excise, cut, or mutilate the whole or any part of the foreskin, testicles, or penis" of anyone 17 or younger in San Francisco.

However, it's not on the ballot YET. San Fran's Department of Elections first must double check to see if the signatures came from registered city voters, but should know within a month.
