Brooke Hogan has posted a touching poem to her father Hulk Hogan on Facebook. Hulk, of course, is going through a tough time right now after making racially-charged comments about Brooke's love life and being removed from WWE's website as a result of the controversy.
Now, daughter Brooke is running to her dad's defense with a very touching poem:
"If you knew the dad I knew, you'd know his tender heart. He'd never want to hurt his fans, or family from the start. If you knew my father, you would know how hard he fought … and the way it brought a smile to people light, medium and dark."
The poem in full, accompanied by a collage of pictures from Hulk's wrestling career, was posted to Brooke's Facebook:
According to reports, emergency personnel were called to his Orlando home early Wednesday morning. The call was for a 69-year-old man who had fallen, and he was taken to a nearby hospital. Sadly, that's where Dusty passed away.
"Numerous complications" while in the hospital were sited prior to the death.
Our thoughts are with his friends and family, who rushed to be by his side.
Now, the professional hunter who accompanied the dentist on the July 1 hunt is speaking out, and he says that "the hunt went wrong from the beginning!"
On Wednesday, Theo Bronkhorst gave a detailed account of the hunt to officials. The Bulawayo native is forbidden from continuing his hunting business which he's run since 1992, and is devastated by the outrage directed at him for Cecil's death.
Though, Bronkhorst's account of the hunt makes it sound like there was a lot of confusion surrounding Dr. Palmer's trip. He explained:
"When Dr Palmer arrived in Bulawayo, his luggage was missing and I was dashing around looking for it. So we were late getting ready to go. And we were never meant to hunt on the land where this lion was shot. At the last minute I had to divert from a concession [hunting area] about eight miles away."
