Sources at Santa Monica’s Giorgio Baldi restaurant have reported that poor Jake Gyllenhaal was subjected recently to the embarrassment of being stood up on a date!
The actor was said to be seen sitting at a table alone, and although servers asked if he wanted anything to eat or drink, he declined for 45 MINUTES until giving up and leaving!
And even more strangely, once he was gone, Jessica Simpson and her fiance, Eric Johnson, ended up taking his empty table!
Awww! This breaks our heart!
Just the worst feeling in the world!
Don’t worry, bb! There are other ladies out there who love to go out with you!
And just so it’s out there, WE would NEVER stand you up!
