There’s a rumor going around that this year’s Fashion’s Night Out was its last.
Vogue insiders say it’s too much work for the magazine and big retailers aren’t making enough money to cover the costs of their star-studded events.
We can’t say we’re surprised.
The whole reason Anna Wintour created the event in 2009 was to get encourage consumers to spend money. But over the past few years it feels like it’s shifted from shopping to finding your favorite celebrity.
