Nine-time Olympic gold-medalist runner Carl Lewis will be… walking for office!

Whoops, “running” for office! How did we miss that one! LOL!

He almost wasn’t allowed to make a bid for office when republicans challenged his residency status, saying that he had not lived in New Jersey for the required four years. However, they were unable to prove it, so a judge has given him the right to run.

His opponents better have some tricks up their sleeves (and a good pair of Nikes) to beat him!
