So sad!
While some residents in the Northeast of the United States may be enjoying the winter fun the heavy snowfall has to offer this year, others aren’t so happy.
A Massachusetts family’s dog, Lily, was hit and killed by a driver outside their home because several feet of snow piled up on the edge of the street did not allow the driver to spot the dog in time.
The dogs owner, Mark Davis, says his concern for the blinding snow banks is growing with another big storm on the way. He told reporters:
“Sad about the dog but thank God it wasn’t one of my kids. These are high enough where a 3- or 4-year-old could go out in the street.”
