Emily Deschanel Wants You To Walk for Farm Animals

A great cause (and a good reason to get out)!

Bones, star (and sister of Zooey) Emily Deschanel is the new spokesperson for Farm Sanctuary’s Walk for Farm Animals Walk for Farm Animals.

The charity walk will be held in more than 35 North American cities this Fall to raise funds to support the organization’s life-saving work AND promote kindness towards animals.

Deschanel says:

“Farm animals are just as interesting and intelligent as the dogs and cats who we know a bit better. Yet they are treated by the meat industry as though they are inanimate objects with no feelings or personalities.”
