Serial Horse Hair Thief

In Montana, someone has been stealing horse hair… right off the horses!
A local horse owner said she noticed one morning that her mare’s tail was cut short.
She says it looked like the hair thief:

“[…] just grabbed pretty fast and chopped.”

The woman said that horse hair can be very valuable, especially when it’s from a white horse like hers.
She said she felt “violated” when she realized a stranger had been in the pen with her horse and hopes that, even though it sounds mean, the horse at least tried to kick the hair thief.
Police say this isn’t the first time a horse’s hair has been stolen in the area.
Someone needs to stop this serial hair thief! Hide your fillies, hide your mare!
