Dunkin’ Donuts just made a slam dunk with this one!
The delicious pastry chain has joined the animal friendly food movement, saying no to gestation crates and using cage free eggs.
The reason behind Dunkin Donuts switch??? All the cool kids restaurants are doing it!
Josh Balk, director of corporate policy at the Humane Society, says the following:
There’s been a massive trend by the largest pork buyers to demand their suppliers eliminate gestation crates.
For as long as students go to high school, these pigs can’t even turn around.
DD’s joins McDonalds, Subway, Wendy’s, Kroger and other food buyers in the march against confinement practices.
