Paul McCartney has tackled a lot for animals…
Elephants. School Lunches. Animal Testing in Cosmetics…you name it.
So what is his next endeavor? The sea turtles of the Cayman Islands!
Sir Paul is launching a campaign against farming sea turtles, announcing his plans on Twitter:
There is no humane way to farm sea turtles. Support @wspa campaign to #stopseaturtlefarming bit.ly/VYqmBV twitter.com/PaulMcCartney/…

The Cayman Islands breeds, farms, slaughters and then sells sea turtles and the rocker wants to end this madness.
The farm itself has said interest in sea turtles has waned and 58,000 people have pledged to help end sea turtle farming.
