Seth MacFarlane is applauding the animal wranglers of The Hobbit for speaking out against the reported 27 deaths during filming…
And we’re applauding him for applauding them! Say that 10x fast!
The Family Guy creator and future Oscar host tweeted his approval of the animal handlers’ voicing their concern.
He tweets:
Glad Hobbit animal wranglers have come forth about animal mistreatment. It’s an underpublicized Hollywood epidemic that needs a crackdown.

Many projects have come under fire due to animal neglect, including HBO’s Luck and Boardwalk Empire.
While we still don’t know who’s right and who’s wrong, we’re glad this issue is hitting the headlines!
