PETA Wants New Zealand To Probe Hobbit Abuse Claims

The investigation continues!!!
PETA is once again leading the charge against animal cruelty, taking their claims against The Hobbit one step further.
As reported last week, PETA and Hobbit producers are playing “he said, she said” over the rumored deaths of 27 animals during filming of the Bilbo Baggins flick.
In a letter dated November 20, PETA has asked New Zealand officials to probe into the abuse allegations and if evidence is found, persecute those responsible.
Peter Jackson, New Line, and Warner Bros. continually deny the claims, and there is no word whether New Zealand will pursue any charges or leads.
