The Grand National Horse Race is upon us.
The annual event takes places in Liverpool, England and is a tradition that started over fifty years ago!
500 to 600 million people tune in from all over the world, but one person who won’t be watching and is emphatically NOT a fan is Leona Lewis.
Here’s what the noted animal activist tweeted:

Then she tweeted:

Leona makes a good point in the sense that these races damage the horses a lot!
There’s got to be a middle ground we can find where people can still enjoy the horses race without harming those beautiful creatures.
Right?!
