Why would people do something like this? It is awful!
A father and son from New York City have both plead guilty to charges that alleged they beat a black cat to death last summer
Father Jean Roger Murat and his son Robenson Murat will both spend 30 days in jail for violating animal cruelty laws.
They’ll also be on probation for five years where they cannot own animals for those five years.
Honestly – we think both of them shouldn’t be allowed to have animals for both of their natural lives.
We also think the father got off really easy – he should’ve gone to jail for way longer than his son!
Talk about not being a good role model at all!
The men were caught after a witness saw them beat the cat to death. The ASPCA came down and recovered the cat, and authorities found the evidence against the men in their home including the broken stick with cat hair and dried blood on it.
Just awful!
