It is WAY too early to be crying!!
As you all know, this Thursday, Glee’s tribute to Cory Monteith
The Quarterback is set to air, but when the credits roll, that won’t be the end of the tough endeavor.
According to Ryan Murphy the end of the episode isn’t the end of Finn.
He talks about how Finn’s untimely death will impact Rachel the rest of the season:
“She struggles with it [the loss] all season. It’s not just done, buried and goodbye.”
So there are more emotional times throughout the season?! We’re not sure how we can handle this!!
He also says Lea Michele, being the amazingly strong person she is, was very much involved in the episode:
├óΓé¼┼ôShe was actually deeply in it [on set] – her story kicks in during the last half. It was very brave of her to do, because there were some cast members, who we won├óΓé¼Γäót name, who didn├óΓé¼Γäót want to do a grief episode, didn├óΓé¼Γäót want to do a memorial episode. So, Lea really put herself in the bottom of the heap and soldiered on.├óΓé¼┬¥
We’re sure Lea wanted to honor Cory’s memory in this episode, she even chose the song she sings. Ryan reveals:
“It was a very personal one for her and Cory. She’s ultimately the person who approved and chose that song. She wanted to do something personal. I don’t think she’ll ever share why she chose that song. It was very sad; everybody was wrecked. It was really hard.”
Listening to Make You Feel My Love always makes us tear up, especially even more now that we know how close this song is to Lea’s heart.
