Snooki's Fragrance Lawsuit Called "Baseless!" Was Her Big Legal Stink All For Nothing??

As we reported over the summer, Snooki thinks Excell Brands totally ripped off her fragrance!
After the Jersey Shore star released her own eponymous scent, Excell began selling a similarly packaged product called Snazzy that was even marketed with the line: “our version of Snooki by Nicole Polizzi.”
Yup, they included her real name and everything!!
But in December, Excell filed a brief asking the judge to throw out the case, since they claim the lawsuit is “baseless”.
According to the brand:

“Offering a similar-smelling and less-expensive version of her perfume [is] a practice which is entirely permissible.”

While that may sound like a made-up fact, their documentation goes on to cite similar examples.
Apparently Calvin Klein, Chanel, and Estee Lauder perfumes ALSO have cheaper knock-off versions on the marketl!
Additionally, Excell claims that using Snooki’s name to sell their product isn’t illegal since it’s technically not a slogan.
We wonder what the judge has to say about this??
