There are a lot of sick people in this world but this is just so wrong and disgusting we can barely handle it.
NY police in Yonkers found that some sicko hung more than 30 plastic bags from a tree. Their contents?
Dead cats.
The cats were arranged ritualistically through the tree. That’s so disturbing!
The director of humane law enforcement at SPCA said:
“They were placed in small shopping bags, the plastic bags that you might get from an A&P or a ShopRite, and then they were hung from a tree. Some were severely decomposed. We got a couple that were still fresh, within the last few weeks maybe. But we’re transporting them and are going to have some necropsies done. We’ll know more then.”
That’s so gross!! We hope they can figure out something!
There’s a psycho running around Yonkers!
The cats were discovered by Department of Public Works employees who arrived to work on an abandoned lot. The smell alone was enough to tip them off to something being wrong.
SPCA’s executive director said:
“It’s very strange. There’s a house next door and there are residences across the street. It’s a well-travelled little vacant lot. There’s a path that runs down to the businesses. Clearly, people have walked that path pretty often. It’s hard to believe that someone didn’t notice something. The smell of decomposition is overwhelming.”
This is seriously so disturbing we don’t want to even think about why someone would do this.
We really hope they catch the person — or demonic, revenge-filled dog — who did this! They could be a danger to themselves but mainly a danger to others!
Poor kitties!
