Alec Baldwin Attacks The NYPD On Twitter After Bicycle Arrest! But Are His Tweets Going The Wrong Way Too?

If you thought Alec Baldwin was going to use his right to remain silent, you don’t know Jack Donaghy!
After the 30 Rock star was arrested for riding his bicycle the wrong way on Tuesday morning, he took to Twitter to tell his side! And he did NOT mince his 140 characters! He tweeted:

Officer Moreno, badge number 23388, arrested me and handcuffed me for going the wrong way on Fifth Ave

But he wasn’t done with the NYPD! That was just the beginning! He tweeted:

Meanwhile, photographers outside my home ONCE AGAIN terrified my daughter and nearly hit her with a camera. The police did nothing.

New York City is a mismanaged carnival of stupidity that is desperate for revenue and anxious to criminalize behavior once thought benign.

Man, those are some harsh words! The bicycle crime didn’t seem like a big deal to us either, but we’re not sure you can vilify an entire city just because you got busted.
