Over the weekend, Alec Baldwin took to Instagram to share a video from his tropical 68th birthday getaway surrounded by family. In the selfie footage, he’s sitting with several of his and Hilaria Baldwin’s kids:
“Hey, it’s me. It’s my birthday. I’m 68 years old — what can I say? I’m 68 … but what a way to turn 68. My favorite birthday before this was 40. That was a while ago.”
His daughter Carmen, 12, then chimes in to jab:
“It was a really long time ago.”

Alec’s jaw drops as he chuckles before asking the tween, “How long ago was it, Carmen?” And her response is SAVAGE! She points out:
“Ummm, so mommy was 14?”
She then bursts out into laughter as Alec’s jaw hangs open. Watch (below):

The 30 Rock alum and his wife notably have a 26-year age gap. In the comments, Alec’s eldest daughter Ireland, whom he shares with ex Kim Basinger, dropped a series of crying laughing emojis as the father-of-eight playfully captioned the post:
“God help me. It’s elder abuse.”
