Pre-BET Awards Party Shooting Leaves One Dead, Four Injured

Nooo! We hate to see a cloud like this cast over the BET Awards!
At a pre-show party in East Hollywood early on Sunday morning, a man opened fire at the Monalizza, leaving one person dead and four injured.
And the lone gunman is still at large, according to Officer Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department.
It was also confirmed that after shooting several rounds on the patio at 5:17am, three people were taken to the hospital by ambulance, where sadly one died. Then two more drove themselves.
It’s not clear if this was an official BET related party, or just one that happened to be taking place, though everyone seems to think the latter is more likely.
Such a sad and unnecessary situation! Our thoughts are with all involved!
