Why a monkey was necessary in this Allure swimsuit editorial shot in someone’s fancy mansion, we have no idea.
But, yay! Marcel is still alive!
Also, yay for Kendall for getting another major magazine cover! It must be awesome for her to have all of her dreams come true like this!
The 19-year-old looks super hot in some very provocative cut-out maillots by Versace and Agent Provocateur.
She should always pose in bathing suits!
The model also talks about life in the Kardashian spotlight and some of her personal insecurities.
Here are the HIGHlights!
On hitting puberty: “I had just started ninth grade when I got my acne. And I had braces. I wouldn’t look people in the eye. It was not a good time for me├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥it just killed my self-esteem. I thought when I didn’t look at someone, they couldn’t see my face.”
On her shyness: “I still have a hard time looking at someone when I’m talking to them, and I get nervous. When I started getting in front of the camera a lot, I think my confidence started to come out. It took a minute, because I had to believe in myself.”
On tattoos: “I have a really weird thing about ‘forever.’ And my sister Kim always said, ‘Don’t put a bumper sticker on a Bentley.'”
On growing up on TV: “It started so early that it’s the only thing I can remember. [My sister] Kylie and I had to grow up in front of people, and it was hard sometimes…but it was never a negative thing.”
On wanting to be a model: “I would read magazines, and I would look at pictures with these women who looked so powerful. I wanted to be that to some little girl or little boy.”
Marc Jacobs’ thoughts on Kendall: “Kendall is everything a model should be: interesting, charismatic, and most importantly, she looks great in the clothing.”
On not wanting Kim at the Marc Jacobs show: “I didn’t need it to be a family affair. As selfish as this sounds, I wanted the attention to be on me for five seconds rather than my family. If they were sitting front row, it would have been all about, ‘Oh, Kim goes to Kendall’s first fashion show!’ I love Kim, but for a minute I wanted it to be like, ‘OK, this is [Kendall’s] thing├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥she’s taking it seriously.'”
Don’t worry; Kim’ll get over it!
