With Grease: Live all wrapped, the world is looking for the next live musical, and we think we’ve found a winner!
Anna Kendrick was obviously VERY vocal during Grease: Live as she live-tweeted the show. However, one of the best things to appear on her Twitter account yesterday was TV writer Megan Ganz proposing a version of Dirty Dancing Live with Kendrick and Channing Tatum. Anna responded saying:
@meganganz @channingtatum True fact: @JordanPeele tweeted this exact thing in 2013. And I’ve always said you’re the Jordan Peele of 2016.

Of course Jordan Peele chimed in saying:

Well this idea could be starting to snowball as ET caught up with Tatum last night at the Hail, Caesar! premiere and he said:
“I would do anything with [Anna].”
The 21 Jump Street star did seem a bit hesitant about the “live” part though, saying:
“I’m good on a second take. [I’m a] third take kind of guy.”
We’ll give you as many takes as you need Channing!

Things got a bit sillier when George Clooney got involved though as the Oscar winner suggested that his Caesar! costar might be better fit to play Baby. LOLz!
Of course the 35-year-old was all about it as he replied:
“I’ll play baby, I’ll totally play baby! I think it’s kind of meant to be.”
Sadly we think this is just a pipe dream as Jenna Dewan-Tatum‘s husband was obviously not very serious and ABC already has a TV movie remake of Dirty Dancing starring Abigail Breslin. Uhm, yeeeeah.
We’re sure the remake will be fine, but seriously, Channing lifting Anna up?! #Dreams.
