Things are coming together over at So You Think You Can Dance.

The show has officially snagged Katie Holmes to perform a big Broadway musical-type dance numbe, and now, the nitty-gritty details are being revealed.

The dance will pay homage to the great Judy Garland, as Katie will dance and SING to the classic 1950’s ditty Get Happy from the musical, Summer Stock. She will be joined on stage by eight lucky male dancers, who will wear matching suit and ties as Katie dons an all-black ensemble. An insider explains that “part of the set appears to be made from scaffolding, creating the illusion that she’s dancing on a rooftop with a sky backdrop.”

A witness revealed that at a recent rehearsal, Katie practiced by lip-syncing to a backing track and “seductively shake her hips” to the music.

Still no word on when this magical moment will air, but we’re banking on the 100th episode on July 8th.

We only have on problem with this scenario: If they were planning a Judy Garland themed number, why wasn’t Anne Hathaway asked to perform? She’s the one with the big Broadway show revolving around the famed actress called Get Happy: The Life of Judy Garland.

Something just doesn’t seem right about this. Any chance Anne will get screwed and replaced by Katie Holmes?!

We sure as hell hope not!
